The Dead Sang Off Key (Viscount Ware Mystery #4)The Dead Sang Off Key by J.L. Buck
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

June 1813. While visiting Seaford, and a Singing Cave Lady Anne Ashburn and her maid discover the body of a young female. But the body has disappeared when the authorities investigate.
Meanwhile, Lucien, Viscount Ware, has discovered the Spanish traitor who has been coerced into working for the French traitor Oscar Hensley by abducting his 17 year old daughter Rosa Maria Hidalgo.
Lucien and Andrew Sherbourne continue their investigation for Whitehall with the help of Lady Anne to determine who is the ringleader of the spy ring.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its very likeable main characters supported by a cast of varied personalities. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
