Aileen MacKinnon has arrived in Loch Fuar to take over the running of her grandmother's inn, Dachaigh Inn. After renovations, her first guests, ten of them have arrived, but before long one is murdered. D.I. Callan Cameron investigates but Aileen has wrangled a place as his partner.
An entertaining well-written mystery, though I did find Aileen a bit of an annoying character. A good start to the series
