A Spider's Web by Liz Hedgecock
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1882 Sherlock Holmes is investigating a possible fraud case involving Humprey Montagu for Inspector Lestrade. Meanwhile Holmes receives written clues to various bombs planted around London. While Mrs Nell Hudson involves herself in various cases. But are they all separate cases.
Overall an entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its likeable characters.
Though probably it would be better to have read the previous two books in the series to acquire some context concerning various characters and their actions and consequences.
