Songbird by Gail Meath
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1923 New York City. Private Investigator Jax Diamond has been employed by Patricia Sanders to determine if her husband is being unfaithful. On his watch, playwright Saunders dies and Diamond is convinced that he was murdered. So sets out to prove his case.
An entertaining well-written historical mystery with its likeable characters. A good start to the series.
