Pinchgut: An Australian Crime Thriller by Phillip Strang
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Sydney Australia 2005. While out jogging Sasha Cornell disappears, the daughter of a wealthy businessman. In 2022 a body is discovered on an island called pinchgut. Cornell uses all his power and money to make sure the police treat it as a priority. Sergeant Natalie Campbell and inspector Haddock investigate. But it seems to be crime where everybody who is even remotely involves, lies. Can they determine the truth, and unravel the past.
An entertaining and well-written modern mystery with its cast of varied and interesting characters. A good addition to this series.
