Murder on the Sea Witch by Irina Shapiro
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1868. On return from an archaeological dig in Egypt, the expedition leader's body is discovered inside a sarcophagus. Time of death indicates he was killed on board cargo ship the Sea Witch, with its limited number of passengers. D.I. Daniel Haze now of Scotland Yard requests the help of Jason Redmond in his investigation.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its likeable main characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
