In this Pride and Prejudice prequel/variationElizabeth Bennet has written a journal which Darcy discovers in a desk he buys for Georgiana. The totally useless Mr Bennet has contracted Elizabeth to marry Collins against her wishes so that she can stay and continue to manage the estate. And what of Jane and Caroline.
(Alternately Epilogue so much better for Mary.)
