December 1941 Oakwood Manor are holding a Christmas play for the evacuee children staying there when the American actor/director is found murdered. Soon the lovable Sleuths are involved in the murder and espionage.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its cast of likeable and interesting characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
