Lady Josephina has a secret. She writes books but because of the expectations of society they are published under her brother's name, much to her regret. She also wishes to find an intelligent husband, who would also let her continue to write.
While at Almack's she meets, Gerald, Lord Richmond. A heir to a dukedom, who enjoys to paint. But this clever, gentleman is socially inept.
Will there be a happy ending for either of them.
An enjoyable romance with a diverse cast of characters.
