Lord of Vice Maxwell Gideon part owner of the gambling club, The Cloven Hoof, wants to find out who his silent partner is so that he buy the gentleman out. Miss Bryony Grenville that silent partner, wanting to determine what price to set, visits the club believing it to be empty. A night that changes both their lives.
A well-written good paced fun story with very likeable characters. It can easily be read as a standalone book but I would recommend the whole series if you like Regency romances.
