The Lost Children by Steve Parker

After being cleared of killing a suspect Detective Superintendent Ray Paterson is back on the job. His first investigation involves the shooting of a man by a sniper. But this is only the begining. Horrendous events will be uncovered.
Because of the subject not a particularly enjoyable read but an interesting one. It certainly kept my interest right to the end. I did enjoy the interactions between the main characters though and look forward to the next in the series.
