Eighteen months have passed since the death of Lord Rivenhall. Solicitors have spent that time searching for the claimant to the estate. Amelia Rivenhall is therefore happy when Richard arrives to claim the title, but another claimant soon arrives. Who is the true heir.
Didn't really take to the character of Amelia, but it was an enjoyable enough romance with a hint of mystery.
