Death at Brighton Pavilion by Ashley Gardner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1819 Captain Lacey comes to early in the morning standing over the murdered body of Colonel Hamilton Isherwood, in the Brighton Pavilion. A man that he had disagreed with some seven years previously.
Not remembering what has happened Lacey must determine the events of the previous night, even if it proves him guilty. Thankfully he has the help of Brewster, Grenville and his wife Donata.
Another enjoyable and well-written historical mystery with its cast of likeable characters.
