Fortune like the Moon by Alys Clare
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1189. To curry favour with the English people on becoming king, Richard plantagenet released all prisoners. Unfortunately a nun was murdered and so Josse d'Acquin is sent to Hawkenlye Abbey to investigate. On arrival he is helped by Abbess Helewise.
An enjoyable well-written historical mystery, a good solid start to this series.
