Death of a False Physician by Lexie Conyngham
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1830s The day has finally arrived, Hipolyta is about to be unfortunately visited by her sister, Mrs Milton, and her mother, Mrs Fettes. But she soon realizes that it's not her they are visiting but a Dr. Gilead who seems to be the next leg of his tour of spa towns, and followed by a group of patients. Who could know that a death would soon follow, and not just one.
An enjoyable and well-written historical with its cast of likeable characters which don't include the mother and sister.
