Mr. Darcy & Elizabeth: The Tree on the Green by Alyssa Jefferson

In this P&P variation Elizabeth meets Georgiana Darcy at Lambton, and helps the crying girl just before she meets Darcy. Later they meet at the Meryton Assembley. Of course events never run smoothly.
Darcy struggles with his attraction, while still his normal arrogant and hypocritical self, while Elizabeth does not seem to change at all. Bingley has more of a backbone, which is a relief to read.
Overall an enjoyable story
