Poison on the Levels by David Hodges
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Tony Samuels is concerned when his girlfriend Tammy Logan goes missing, but as an adult and missing for only a day the police are reluctant to start a major inquiry.
D.S. Kate Lewis offers to take his statement. Later she is called to a suspected suicide, and the discovery of a poison pen letter in his study points to a possible reason.
Are there more letters, who is sending them.
More deaths will occur and will Tammy be found in time.
An enjoyable and well-written read though I did have by suspicions for the murderer quite early on.
Received an ARC from the publisher
