1194 It's only been several weeks but Sir Faucon has another murder to solve. A wealthy merchant, Bernart the Linsman, has been murdered in Stanruddle, in his own home. A hue and cry has seen the suspect receive sanctuary in the church. Much to the surprise of the populace it is Sir Faucon and not the sheriff Sir Alain who answers the call to pronounce the verdict.
Another well-written, enjoyable mystery in this series with its very likeable characters.
