Matthew Ballard and his partner Liz Haynes are now both retired and working as private investigators. Old friend ex-DI Will Stonebridge asks that they look out for his neighbour Emilia Swain, as she has suffered a few incidents. But they and Will are concerned about his wife, Kate, and her obsession with their home Holland House.
An interesting and enjoyable well-written mystery, with its cast of varied characters. Another good addition to the series.
