1811 In this prequel to P&P, Darcy is worried as it seems that Georgiana with her companion Mrs Younge have gone missing. On a recommendation he employs private investigator Alexander Lyons.
Lyons is also investigating the background of Isabella Wood, for her fiance Peter Ecclesford, hopefully to prove that she is high enough socially so that his father will consent to their marriage.
An entertaining well-written mystery story.
