The Horse's Mouth by Phillip Strang
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Tremayne is having a day off from work and attending the Salisbury Racecourse. But work is never far away as he gets involved with the investigation into a substituted horse, and a dead body. The body is of Sally, the daughter of the horse owner Barton Kirkland.
Online betting, horse race fixing, how is it all connected but the bodies continue to be discovered.
An enjoyable well-written modern crime story, with its likeable main characters. Another good addition to the series.
