Death on a Silver Tray by Rosemary Stevens
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1805. George 'Beau' Brummell is asked by Frederica Duchess of York to investigate the death of the Countess of Wrayburn. As she suspects Lavender, a Bow Street Investigator will arrest the wrong person.
Why he is asked is not explained as he is shown to be nothing more than a fashion clothes horse.
Still an entertaining cozy mystery.
