DI Kate Young has been on extended leave due to a traumatic event in her life. But now she is needed back to investigate the death of businessman Alex Corby. A man who seems to have been tortured. But why and by whom. But soon there will be another death.
An entertaining and well-written mystery though I did determine the killer before Kate.
A good start to a new series.
