Clara Brereton, 23, has spent four years as a guest and companion to Dowager Lady Denham, at Sanditon House. Unfortunately she is in love with Sir Edward Denham, as he is with her. But he is unhappily married, marrying for the much needed money to Mary Crawford.
I found Clara to be a bit foolish by constantly risking her reputation by meeting Denham. So can she have her happy ending.
Overall an entertaining story.
