Death on the Pier by Jamie West
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1933 Brighton, The Palace Pier Theatre. Playwright Bertie Carroll with DCI Hugh Chapman are watching the first performance of his play, when one of the actors is killed on stage. Chapman, aided by Carroll investigate.
An entertaining historical mystery with its likeable main chracters. A good start to this new series.
