1895 Massachusetts . 19 year old deirdre Monaghan is discovered dead and Liam Barrett is under pressure by local mill and estate owner Alistair Cunningham to arrest someone. Found it difficult to raise an interest in the story for some reason with its cast of unlikeable characters.
