In this Pride and Prejudice variation Mr Darcy arrived in Meryton a week prior to the Bingleys lease of Netherfield Park. But at the Meryton Assembly Bingley does not recognise his friend. The imposter must be dealt with and the real Darcy to arrive with Colonel Fitzwilliam.
