A Death in the Pavilion by Caroline Dunford
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
1911. Euphemia is now been promoted to the post of paid companion to Richenda Stapleford. They are staying at the country estate of banker Hans Muller, the man that Richenda has matrimonial hopes on. But suspicions are aroused concerning the death of Muller's first wife, and Euphemia once again becomes embroiled in death when one of the staff is found dead.
An enjoyable well-written mystery featuring the deplorable Stapleford twins.
