The newly-promoted DCI Elsie Mabey is called in to investigate when a body is discovered in a church - St Dunstan in the East. Is this a copycat or the same killer as a murder from several weeks previously. DCI Fairbanks has no longer any interest in his case, so hands the two case over to Mabey and her team. But will the killer strike again.
Her team have their flaws but we get to know them over the story and become a likeable group, but can they come together to catch the killer.
An enjoyable and interesting crime story with characters I look forward to reading about again to see how they develop.
