The Tomb of the Chatelaine by Karen Baugh Menuhin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
October 1922. Miss Persephone Carruthers enjoins Major Lennox and ex-chief Inspector Swift to her uncle’s house, Lanscombe Park in Sussex. As she believes the chauffeur, Monroe, has been killed in suspicious circumstances and insists they investigate.
An entertaining and well-written historical mysteries with its cast of likeable (especially the two main characters) and varied characters. Another good addition to the series.
