AN INCONSPICUOUS MURDER by Norah Winter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
September 1931. Young female Lacey Gibson is found dead at the bottom of the stairs in her home. The police quickly decided it was an accident but Dr Maggie Fitzmorris is unsure and so will not sign off the death certificate. This leads her to investigate to convince Inspector Hislop otherwise.
An entertaining historical mystery set in Canada.
