The Bookshop Murder by Merryn Allingham
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Abbeymead, 1955. Bookshop owner Flora Steele discovers a body one morning in her shop. That of 21 year old Australian Kevin Anderson, later deemed to have died from natural causes. But why was he in the shop during the night. Flora with the help of writer Jack Carrington investigate, hopefully solving the death before anyone else dies.
An entertaining historical cozy mystery with its likeable main characters.
