Enola Holmes and the Mark of the Mongoose by Nancy Springer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
May 1890, London. American book agent Wolcott Balestier has gone missing after going on an evening stroll. Friend Rudyard Kipling dismisses Enola's help and turns to Sherlock to investigate.
Overall an enjoyable story though not an intricate mystery. Enola is more of the role of helper to Sherlock. As this is the first of the series I have read I don't know if that is the usual situation.
An ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
