A Pride and Prejudice variation that starts post Hunsford when Jane and Elizabeth are recalled home because of an injury to Bennet. who decides that to protect his daughters future they must work as governesses. But when Elizabeth is attacked she decides to flee to London to speak to Bingley. Circumstances lead to the delightful Colonel Fitzwilliam to take charge and ensue happy endings.
