December 1867. A seance at Ardith Hall results in a death. The suspects are limited to the participants which unfortunately for Inspector Haze includes his wife Sarah. Which means that Lord Redmond takes the lead in the investigation.
An entertaining historical mystery with its likeable characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series
