Eliza Mace by Sarah Burton

1870s. Sixteen year old Eliza Mace's mother Hannah owes the family home Edge Hall, while her father Robert, is continually in debt chafing at the restrictions. Then he goes missing. Constable Pritchard is given the investigation with some help from Eliza.
Overall the story was entertaining enough though with unlikeable characters.
