May 1867. The body of newly married Imogen Chadwick is discovered in the caravan of Luca Lee. Also Moll Brody, niece of Davy Brody of the Red Stag Tavern goes missing at the same time. Inspector Daniel Haze and surgeon Lord Jason Redmond investigate.
An entertaining and well-written historical mystery with its likeable characters. Another good addition to this enjoyable series.
