Murder at Mablethorpe Castle by Elizabeth Rose

Late 1300s, the time of Edward III. A fire burns the stables, is this a diversion to the murder of Lord Gainsborough. Sheriff Fitch investigates while Lady Vivienne insists in being his partner in the investigation. Unfortunately I found Vivienne fairly unlikeable in her behaviour and I didn't feel drawn into medieval England.
Overall it was enjoyable enough to finish the story.
