A Pride and prejudice sequel. Clayberne village. Kitty Bennet has married Dr Lewis Lovell, but they have been imposed upon by the immoral Wickhams. On returning home one afternoon they find Lydia hurt, unconscious, on the kitchen floor. Who attacked her and why. Kitty seems as ineffectual as Canon.
An enjoyable sequel.
