DS Ava Merry and DC PJ Jenkins are off to a forties-themed dance held at Northfields Farm on Valentine’s Day. Their evening of fun does not go to plan when two bodies, brutally murdered, are discovered. Will they be the only two, and secrets can be deadly.
DI Jim Neal and his team investigate.
I enjoyed this well-written mystery, though I am not sure that I care much for any of the police characters.
