Persuading Miss Mary: A Pride and Prejudice Variation by Leenie Brown
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
In this Pride and Prejudice variation it was not an auspicious start the first meeting of Reginald Arthur Fitzwilliam, Viscount Westonbury and Mary Bennet. But being used to being flattered Westonbuty believes he can change the opinion Mary has of him. But Mary has standards which he has failed to live up to. What is a gentleman to do.
The story continues not just of Mary but also to a lesser extent of Lydia. But can either brother or sister have their happy endings.
Who can not love the Fitzwilliam family, all four of them, such lovely well-drawn characters. Both Mary and Lydia are enchanting ladies.
This is another enjoyable and delightful well-written story in this series.
