The Painted Doll Affair by Angus MacVicar
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A cryptic message received from Scliffy Gallagher, his confidential informant, that an assassination will occur in the Painted Doll village before the end of September leads P.I. and freelance journalist Bruce LcLintock and his wife Mary Jo to Pittendall. Where they try to unravel the message.
An enjoyable well-written mystery with its likeable main characters.
