The Continental Gentleman by Issy Brooke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Cordelia, Lady Cornbrook is staying at her Surrey estate, Clarfields, when she receives an anonymous letter wishing her ill. But she is not the only one, old foe Hugo Hawke, is renting a house nearby and he also has received a letter. But it is nether of them that is found dead. Lady C is determined to search out the truth.
Another well-written and enjoyable Victorian mystery in this series.
