A Pride and Prejudice variation where the Bennets are in a precarious position financially, to the extent that they are living in a tenants cottage. Elizabeth intends to lower their social position even more by going to work as a maid at Netherfield. Elizabeth really is quite stupid in this story as she doesn't understand the consequences of her future actions.
The story doesn't seem to have a beginning or an ending.
