In this Pride & Prejudice variation, Darcy's and Elizabeth's happy ending is aided by their first meeting in Lambton four years earlier, when she is travelling with Mary and the Gardiners. And so the Meryton assembly becomes an enjoyable evening for the three of them.
An entertaining short story, another re-read.
