In this Pride and Prejudice variation, with the threat of marriage to Mr Collins, without the protection of her useless father, Elizabeth Bennet flees Longbourn and arrives with the help of the Gardiners at Lambton where she is employed as a teacher on the Pemberley estate. So a quick start to the romance of Darcy and Elizabeth. We have high drama, a wicked Wickham, illnesses, possibly madness, bodily attacks and of course a foolish Lydia.
