In this Pride and Prejudice variation, does Darcy have a rival for the hand of Elizabeth Bennet in Wickham. How can he afford to marry. Soon after Charlotte's marriage to Mr. Collins, Elizabeth and Mary venture to Hunsford to find their futures.
An enjoyable re-read, but it was a pity that the opportuniy was dismissed to portray, in detail, the second romance in this story. That I would have loved to read about. Which is the only reason I re-read the story.
