Elizabeth Bennet is in mourning, and Darcy is unofficially engaged to Caroline Bingley when they meet at the Meryton Assembly. So how can they ever reach a happy ending.
Hopefully one day I will read this author's story of the Colonel and Mary and as a main story and not just as a background mention in some of her books.
An enjoyable, well-written story. Another re-read.
